The Outward Bound Relay is a 10-person, 170-mile, ~24-hour relay race across the Rocky Mountains, from Idaho Springs to Glenwood Springs. Each runner hoofs it for 3 legs of the relay. The legs were as short as 3 miles or as long as 12+ miles. Several of the legs are on single-track and this year Team Bacon even encountered snow to tromp through and lakes that had to be waded. This was our 3rd year running the race, and we were told that 'Fueled by Bacon' is becoming a staple at the OBR.

This year, we finished in 24 hours and 42 minutes. We placed 27th out of 145 teams overall and placed 8th out of 37 teams in the open division.
